Jordan Yeager Proposes Satellite Courts to Increase Access to Justice

Doylestown, PA, April 25, 2019—Jordan Yeager, a candidate for judge of the Court of Common Pleas of Bucks County, believes that too many Bucks County residents face unreasonable burdens in seeking justice, and if he is elected, he wants to do something about it.

Yeager advocates creating satellite courts in government and court buildings throughout Bucks County to make the justice system more accessible to all County residents. Video is an additional tool that could be used for increasing access to the court system.

“Residents throughout Bucks County may have to travel almost an hour to get to the County courthouse in Doylestown,” said Yeager. “This can be really tough for those who work full-time without flexible hours, juggle multiple jobs, have childcare or eldercare responsibilities, or have to depend on public transportation. We must find ways to improve access to our judicial system so that we are living up to our promise of justice for all.”

Increasing access to justice is the primary theme of Yeager’s campaign. He is seeking both the Democratic and Republican nominations to the Bucks County Court of Common Pleas in the May 21, 2019 primary election. If nominated, he will take part in the general election on November 5.
